Catherine Ogbonna, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Catherine Ogbonna is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality mental health care. With over 15 years of progressive experience in nursing and behavioral health, Catherine has cultivated a comprehensive understanding of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.

Currently practicing as a psychiatric Nurse practitioner in Texas, Catherine manages a high-volume caseload, providing individualized care that promotes symptom stabilization and optimizes patient outcomes. Her clinical expertise is complemented by her strong communication skills and her ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.

Catherine holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as both an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Registered Nurse, and she is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Throughout her career, Catherine has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to mental health advocacy, patient education, and the delivery of culturally competent care. Her leadership experience includes serving as a Nurse Manager at Richmond State Supported Living Center, where she directed nursing functions and care coordination for patients with psychiatric and intellectual disabilities.
